Batam Trip Planning (Updated)

Yo Yo !!!
It has been so long about my last post of batam planning, I believe it has changed so much that I actually need to get it updated.

So here I would like to share toy ou guys about Batam Trip Planning on,

Where to go at Batam ?
Where to eat at Batam?
Massage at Batam, this and that..

So here we go....

1. Ferry Booking

There are some ferries I would like to recommend, which I usually travel with.

First, Batam fast ferry

Destinations :
Batam Centre known as city of Batam.
Sekupang, if you would like to go to the beaches (KTM Resort) will be nearer or maybe wanna go to another small islands of Indonesia, there is the main harbour.
Harbour Bay, known as nearer to many hotels for me, so it is quite convinience, but because harbourbay is still quite new, so there are small numbers of ferries operates one day.
Nongsapura, is the resort of batam itself. those beaches and golf mostly located there.
(For Batam fast ferry schedule click here)

Second, Sindo Ferry,

Destinations :
Batam Centre
Sekupang
Waterfront, is another resort place well known as Harris Resort. got beaches, golf and so on too.
Tanjung Balai, is another island which i never go before. ahahs.
Tanjung Pinang, is an Island next to Batam, where Bintan is located, so if you wanna travel to Bintan, you could get on this ferry, hahas !!
(For Sindo ferry schedule click here)

Third, Pacific Ferry,

Destinations :
Batam Centre

Sekupang

*** NOTE ***
Please call and book the ferry at least 3 to 5 days before departure or maybe earlier to prevent fully occupied.

I would recommend,

"I hotel", cos its just beside NAGOYA HILL shopping mall. It is near to everywhere.
"Gideon", It is new hotel in front of BCS mall, and its pretty cheap and comfortable.

"BCC", It is new apartment just behind BCS mall, and its pretty cheap and comfortable.
"GoldenView hotel", cos it near Golden Prawn seafood and GO-karting and so on.
"Planet Holiday"
"Pasific hotel", just beside harbourbay.
"Swiss-belhotel" v high class hotel, it is very new and expensive, it is just located at Harbour Bay Ferry Terminal. You can consider it..

There are some new hotel that I am not familiar with, if u are interested, u might need to go for tripadvisor.com to check.

4. Place to go

1. Nagoya hills mall,

The only place that i go all over again

food :
restroom cafe, all scenery like a toilet even the plates, bowl and cups are restroom based.
caffein cafe, quite atas coffee shop and dessert
A & W, they have A&W if you guys miss it out.
Citra pempek, most famous are their pempek(fishcake) and nasi kuning (yellow rice)
Pizza Hut, I love Batam pizza, very very cheap and tasty :)
KFC, they marinate better than Singapore
Coffee Luwak, known as best coffee from Indonesia ^^
FOOD STREET LEVEL 1 (behind KFC), they have all sort of indonesian food, JUST GO!
and so on..............

Leisure :
Massage,
they have alot massage place to go. U just go out from Basement Gate (in front of Hypermart), they have one row of massage places.
I would recommend ESKA (cos the places very cozy, service is good and FIXED PRICE)
and next is SAWADIKA (level 4 inside nagoya hills) $15 for 1.5hr of balinese massage
Cinema,
try it out, but their substitue is in Bahasa. hahahaa
Singing,
nagoya hills known as singing place for youngsters here, most famous is Inul Vista located outside nagoya hills mall, but still within nagoya hills.

2. Batam City Square (BCS) mall,

4. Golden Prawn

they known as best at thier seafood, very cheap at range $100 for 3-4 person with full table of foods.

barelang is a place with alot island connected with the bridges. they are place to visit too.
food : they have fresh seafood ever as their seafood still swimming in the seas. haha. go for seafood bridge no 1.

leisure :
they have fishing by renting the boat to the middle of the sea.
they have alot places to visit like vietnam village, left from WW2.
you can see how they plant dragonfruit and so on.

7. Ocarina

Ocarina is a park to go from the city, it is located at Batam centre. they have beaches, cycling and so on

there are many places out there by itself. like nice restaurant and so on for you to travel. do comment for anything unclear :D:D

8. Montigo

They said it very good and nice, i think it is pretty expensive thou..

9. Chillin Place

Brewsky, (beside nagoya citiwalk) they have music band on weekend, drink quite cheap, and of cource it would be cheapest beer you could get from everywhere.
Titanium (located at nagoya)
De' Patros (located at harbourbay)

** have to drink their beer... 3.5litres for $23....

P.S. Place to go all near the city and not far away like Harris resort or Nongsa. Except Barelang might take at least one day or at least half day. #2d1n plan.
