Jelly Recipe

Failed Cheddar Cheese Cake
I was saying that im gonna back Cheddar Cheesecake. But, very paiseh that i failed it :( above picture are my failed cheesecake. the taste is still okay, acceptable. There are notes that I would like to share why my cheese cake was failed.
- Wrong way to melt cheese tgt with milk and butter
(cheese is not completely melt)
(causing  cheese sinking down apart from the batter )
- Egg whites rest too long, causes the cake not raise up

Jelly Powder

So, today is a hot day. Im gg to make jelly to freshen up. I got some kiwi and oranges in my fridge, so im gg to make Kiwi and Oranges Jelly.


Recipe for Kiwi Jelly :
  1 Pkt of Double Swallow Sun Jelly Powder
3 1/2 Cup Water
 1/2 Cup Sugar ( I do not like too sweet )
1 Tablespoon Condensed milk
3 Kiwi

How to make :
- Peel Kiwi and cut into cubes, put into jelly glasses
- Pour water into boiling pan together with Jelly powder and sugar, stir before start fire
- After Jelly powder dismissed into the water, boil it for 3 minutes
- Turn off fire and sit for 1 minute until all bubbles are dismissed
- Pour 3/4 Jelly into jelly glasses with Kiwi, and sit for 5 minutes
- Start fire on the rest 1/4 jelly and melt it, add condensed milk inside
- sit for 1 minute and pour on top of first jelly
- Rest Jelly until cool and put into fridges (it taste better when its cool)

Recipe for Oranges Jelly:
1 Pkt of Double Swallow Sun Jelly Powder
3 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Sugar ( I do not like too sweet )

2 Oranges juice with the flesh

How to make :
- Cut Oranges into two, use spoon to scoop out Oranges juice together with its flesh
- Pour water into boiling pan together with Jelly powder and sugar, stir before start fire
- After Jelly powder dismissed into the water, boil it for 3 minutes
- Turn off fire, add oranges juice with the flesh and sit for 1 minute until all bubbles are dismissed
- Pour Jelly into jelly glasses
- Rest Jelly until cool and put into fridges (it taste better when its cool)

Mashed Potato

The weather recently is not good :( everyone is falling sick. me too !! ive got sore throat and it really affecting my meals. i skipped my lunch n dinner for alot alot of times cos ive no appetite. RESULTING IN OVER UNDERWEIGHT !!! yeah i alrd underweight before sick, and now i look terribly skinny. before sick i was about 38kg and my height is about 150cm (shorty !) and after sick, i guess i left maybe 37kg ?

So yesterday night i went to Google searching weight gain in one week and it stated that ideal way to gain weight only 0.5kg per week. so, my target is 42kg, 4 more kg in two months (doctor said my ideal weight is 45kg- but i think i will look v fat). and they teach us what food to eat, mostly is about eat more food that contain alot protein like egg, meat, fish and so on. Ive also read that I need to eat more starchy food like potato.

Then today ive eaten my lunch with tofu and fish and another veggie :) and for my late lunch, ive made myself a bowl of mashed potato !!!


Mashed Potato Sprinkled with Pepper

Here are the recipe of easiest mashed potato !

2 large Russet Potatoes
1 tablespoon Butter
1/4 cup Milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
Pepper for sprinkle

How to do :
1. Wash clean the potatoes and peel of the skin and cut into 4 cubes
2. Steam potatoes until the potatoes are soft (try to break it with fork)
3. After the potatoes are cook and soft, move into a tray with holes and dry it (do not use tissue)
4.  Mashed potatoes with wood spoon or over a net if you do not have potato masher
5. Melt butter with milk in low fire
6. Add mashed potato into shimmering butter and milk
7. Add salt and stir into dry and creamy starch
8. Move into a bowl and sprinkle with some paper

Kueh Bangkit recipe !!

Heiii ....How are you guys ?? sorry sorry soorry, its been more than 3 weeks i never update my blog. there are tooooo many many things happen to me out there. mainly is about job hunting. has been hunting so much, but ...........yeahhh !! super stressful !

During these three weeks ive done many many things, i did hair updo for my dad cousin(uncle) wedding but now ive a very short hair. haha. everyone said i look tomboy !hmmm...not that bad right ?? i was a tomboy girl before. hahaha. surprisingly i love baking n diy. i think need to thank to my beloved mommy, that she is great at baking n diy too.

for the past few weeks, my dear bf has been acc me almost everyday, we went out for picnic, went for "the Fray" concert, and steamboat with bf friends and of cos are my friends too. the concert is really great but its too loud !!ive tried black beer and it taste sooo bitter and my dearest boyfie said i drunk. well, i guess i am cos i forgot mostly what i said. dangerous huh !

KKie ! so today i will share about "Kueh Bangkit Recipe" . some of you probably dunno what it is. its a coconut cookies, i think is from malay or chinese, i dont know. i know that its crispy and melted straight away when you bite it into your mouth. mostly they will sell it during malay new year or Chinese new year. so i guess, its maybe from paranakan or baba/nonya family :)

okay forget about where its come from, i just guess. as long as the cookies is nice. so i will try it out !!! okay, should be me and my mom try it out !!!

Kueh Bangkit Recipe :
- 1kg Tapioca flour
- some pandan leaves
- 2tsp salt
- 6 egg yolks
- 350g granulated sugar
- 500g fresh coconut milk (without water)

step-by-step :
- wash clean the pandan leaves and dry them
- dry-fry the tapioca flour with some pandan leaves with low fire until its light and fluffy and the pandan leaves dry and abit curl.
- set aside the flour, cool it into room temperature and sieve it before use.
- boil the coconut milk with salt, some pandan leaves and 320g sugar ( left 30g sugar will be used in egg yolks). boil with care and low fire, do not over boil. when the sugar are dissolved, off the fire. set aside and let it cool.
- beat egg yolks with 30g sugar until sugar are perfectly dissolved and the yolks are creamy and fluffy.
- add cool coconut milk and flour into the yolks, stir carefully as the flour will fly and mess all your kitchen.
- add the flour slowly, as the dough shouldnt be too wet or dry.
- set aside the dough and cover it for 10 minutes before cut out with cookie cutter.
- bake in preheated oven 160C for 15 mins.
